Your Script Isn't Ready - Here's Why
The main reason your script isn’t ready is simple to explain -
You never finished it.
There, I said it. But take heart.
The average screenwriter has between 3-5 scripts in some form or another.
None of them finished.
1-2 are getting close, but they’ve been a WIP for years now.
It’s so easy to crank out those first few pages. You’ve had a brilliant idea and it’s going to be an awesome movie.
Sound familiar?
Good. You’re normal.
Time to take a hard look in the mirror and decide just how dedicated you are. Don’t get me wrong, it’s totally fine to move on and do other things.
But if your goal is to write screenplays (or anything for that matter), it might be time to look yourself in the mirror and actually do the work.
I’m in the same boat with 2 scripts right now. Time to get my act together and start writing with passion again. That’s why I’m taking my own advice.
I’m starting my own 60 day challenge. I’m going to have a screenplay finished (from idea to 1st draft) in 60 days.
No more putting it off for me!
Let me say this:
You can do it too.
You can write and FINISH your screenplay. Then package it, and start getting it in front of the right people.
I believe in you.
You got this.
Let this be the wake-up call you needed to get back in the game and get the damn thing done!
I’m cheering for your success!
